Well I'll start then.
Sunday and Monday night I was partaking in viewing Waking the Dead. Anyone else see it?
In the week I watched School of Rock (8 out of 10 for that one) and Big Fish (7 out of ten for that).
And this week I have been mostly listening to The Streets : A Grand Doesn't Come For Free.
Anyone like to pass any comments on these?

I saw 'Big Fish' a while ago and was pleasantly surprised - I was expecting it to be quite rubbish, but I actually thought it was very interesting, in a weird kind of way. I've seen 'Shrek 2' four times in the last few weeks and it;s actually improved each time...I think it's very funny, and with some very clever moments - and Puss in Boots was wicked but I don't think it's as good as the first one plot-wise. I loved the town of Far Far Away though. I saw 'Stepford Wives' the other day...I haven't seen the other versions, but I thought this one was very good - funny in places and creepy in places, a good mixture, and Nicole Kidman was cool...I don't usually like her, but she did this very well. I'd recommend it, definitely. Any comments?

Well I went to see "Shrek 2" and I agree on all your point's of it except I thought Donkey was great especially as the Noble Steed. The plotline was ok but like you say the first was definatly better. The one thing it did dissapoint me on was the count of films they had nicked bits from. I think I stopped counting at about 10.
I've also been to see "Spiderman 2" a great film and great moral story behind it I think.

I agree, Donkey was great, especially as the Noble Steed "I'm a STALLION baby!!" I thought the nicking from other films thing was quite cool actually - I thought it was fun spotting them all - a really obvious one that everyone I saw it with missed was the Frankenstein one...'It's aliiiive!' hehe I haven't seen Spiderman II yet but I do want to. I just watched 'You are what you eat'...not wise if you've just eaten a takeaway ...still, you've just gotta tell yourself that once every couple of weeks is NOT the same as everyday

Shrek 2 was definately ace but not as ace as Shrek. Donkey was a let down and Puss definately stole the show.
As for Spidey 2, well been a fan of the comic and dodgy cartoon series that they are now repeating at 7:00am on channel four for years and was reasonably impressed with how they handled the Goblin in the first one, even if the costume was dire, as it seems is Doc Ocks.
Well, time to start preaching. Firefly anyone?

I went to see Garfield The Movie a while ago...a good film...made me laugh. I think they did it very well but it parts it was disappointing and slow...loved the Tony Hawks style skating down the stairwell... Also been to see Catwoman was rather disappointed with the film ...not as good as it could of been. I could understand the increase in confidence and so on but the instantly being able to fight? Didn't quite seem right for me.. :(and it did seem as if she had a personality transplant over night. Also watched the Core what a great film. Gets a big thumbs up from me. I loved the story, the SFX and the characters were great as well. Especially Rat the hacker. ;D He really made me laugh.. ;D

I want to see Garfield, it looks very funny ;D I went to see the Chronicles of Ridd1ck the other day...seriously terrible film, even for a seasoned sci-fi fan like myself...I found myself contemplating the pretty design of the lights in the cinema halfway through...don't bother, it's not a patch on Pitch Black, which it's supposed to be a sequel of, although they really only nicked some of the characters. Judi Dench was good, as were a few of the concepts, and of course old Vin Diesel was his usual cool macho self...but don't waste a fiver on it It's not a film, but a TV series I'm loving at the moment...'Colin and Justin's How not to decorate' on channel 5...it is brilliant, I love them, they're so camp it's unbelievable! ;D Unfortunately, the series ended today, but another one's coming soon, so if you haven't seen it, catch the next series, it's hilarious ;D

My ex and his cousin went to see Chronicles of Riithingy the other day and said it was great...I'll have to see it to give my opinion.
I know the film kill bill is old but was LISTENING to it the other day and boy does it sounds gory and violent. Just listening to it has put me off ever watching it.

Ah, well, different tastes I guess - it was only my personal opinion that it was sh1te;) It wasn't the worst film I've seen...that honour would have to go to 'The Nun's Story'...four hours...about a nun's life...*shudders* oh, the memories... I don't want to see Kill Bill either - I'm not good with violence past about PG level EDIT:Man, these substitute word things are really getting to me...I think I'll change them...
