I had mine taken a couple of years ago now. My dentist sent me to the hospital to get them taken because the last time he took a tooth I ended up biting him and drawing blood. So he thought it was best I be put to sleep while they were taken. Chicken that he was. Well the reason I bit him was because I DON'T like needles and he made a mistake with the first injection into the gum so had to do another one.

Hehe You go girl! Those injections are horrible... I had mine done at the dental practice under intravenous sedation - which is apparently a drug that relaxes you and means you're conscious throughout but has an amnesia effect so I can't remember anything about the procedure. It's really weird - they had trouble getting the sedation into me, since apparently I have tiny veins, they tried both my hands and elbows before they finally got it in in my left hand. The last I remember is them apologising for taking so long to get it in, and me saying no that's fine or something...then I can't remember anything until feeling some tugging at my mouth and someone saying, "That's the last one!" And I was a bit out of it for a few hours, everything's a bit hazy now, but I have no memory at all of the procedure. Which is great - it meant I can't remember having the local injections, and from previous extractions, I know they're not pleasant at all. I once bit my orthodontist...I had a brace, and I had regular appointments for ages...at one of these, he was doing something in my mouth and he told me to bite together...I just did it a bit faster and more aggresively than he expected He deserved it, I hated him, he was brutal...after that, he transferred me to another practice, hehe

So far all the dentist's Ive had are brutal and mean. I used to have a brace as well. I hated it. I wore it for two years and just despised it the entire time. Especially when they tightened it. The discomfort for days as your mouth got used to the change.
*Sigh
Oh well those days are long gone thankfully.
Do you want some more chocolate mousse??

Yeah, I had mine for about three years, and I hated it when they tightened it, you couldn't eat anything properly, it ached so much. I had a retainer after the fixed brace, that was better since I could take it out I always took it out when eating even though they told me not to...I'm always a bit dubious as to whether it was worth it, I loved my fangs, I felt they gave my face character... Yes, definitely nice to have that all over now...I remember the feeling when I got my fixed one off, my teeth felt so smooth! I'd love some chocolate mousse hon, thank you

*Passes chcoloate to Queen Melis.*
I still have fangs so my friends say. Though there not prominent but still noticeable. I like them there nicer than the normal square teeth.

You do. This soft food stage won't last too long. I was on it for about a week. Though by the end of it I was really fed up of it and couldn't wait to eat something to sink my teeth into..so to speak.
